Addictive behaviors to me have often meant drug abuse or violence. However the more I investigated it I realized it covers a wide range of behaviors that can be regarded as addictive. It can relate to the person who keeps winding up in the same unhappy sort of relationships. Or the person who keeps reacting in the same unproductive ways when confronted with similar situations. So it doesn’t need to be that ‘heavy stuff’ but more behaviors, that when you analyze them, keep occurring.

God sent Samuel to anoint David; God told Samuel not to look at the outside. Man looks at outside. God looks at the heart. Character is more important. Gifts, talents, skills, abilities are important.

Love commands us to take no account of a suffered wrong (I Cor. 13:7). “No account, Lord? But they hurt me. They made me mad!” No, you are fully responsible for your own emotions. ‘They’ might do all kinds of things, but ‘you’ are choosing to be angry. You can, instead, choose to ignore their antics. You can choose to walk away. You can choose to respond quietly, or not respond at all. You can choose, purposefully, to stay rooted and grounded in love (Eph. 3:17).

The problem is not abortion per se. The problem is, in fact, the question of human life. The greatest discovery of the West–the fact that made the West different from the rest of the world– was the discovery of human dignity…that human beings are different from all other animals. There is fundamental right to life for human beings. A chicken doesn’t have, a cow doesn’t have , a pig doesn’t have the right that you have.

Excuses kill people, they really do! I don’t know why we as human beings do this to ourselves. You may say excuses keep us from failing, they keep us in a comfort zone, and when we are comfortable we feel secure. Secure! How is living with stress, Click here, an unhealthy body and complaining all the time, secure? People that don’t do what they love are also tired and sick all the time! I don’t know about you but I’d rather do what I love and enjoy doing it every single day than having to live a life of “security”.

One of the best techniques is through proper breathing. It relaxes your muscles and nerves, and as you exhale, you can imagine your worries going out of you.

You can discover great benefits from playing the drum kit. The primary goal is achieving lower stress levels or eliminating them altogether. The greatest benefit gained is relaxation. How can playing drums be relaxing?
